Trolls are large, brutish humanoids, with what appears to be very little intelligence. Trolls can be controlled or summoned by other magical creatures such as Halflings and Queen Fay.

Biology and Traits

Trolls are generally very large and very fat. Normal trolls are pasty while forest trolls are larger and have bluish skin covered with tattoos. Both types are known for their violent natures, low intelligence, use of loincloths, and ingestion of human flesh. Tough fighters that are capable of crushing an entire horde in one body slam, these brutes are considered really difficult at 35% of the game.

Appearances

In the first Overlord the halflings used trolls as "hired" muscle. Other trolls could be found in Evernight Forest. The wild trolls are known as Forest Troll.

A single, oversized troll appears in the outskirts of the Everlight Temple in Overlord 2. Since it was summoned outside of Everlight Temple by Fay in Overlord II they may be considered magical creatures, indicated their lack of presence, possibly through being hunted by the Glorious Empire.

In Fellowship of Evil Trolls are reappearing. Even greater than in the first two games, that are new opponents for the Netherghul.
