The Netherghuls appear in Overlord: Fellowship of Evil, the Netherghuls are four undead individuals summoned forth by Gnarl through the Big Book o' Evil in order to stem the advance of the mysterious force known as The Golden, which is slowly purifying all Evil environments and creatures into beings filled with happiness and harmony.
They are not true Overlords, but are instead described as potential "candidates" for the job, seeing as the minions have yet to find a true Overlord that can save them from the Golden.
The four Netherghuls are:
- Inferna, a legendary human warrior.
- Hakon, a Dwarf rogue.
- Cryos, a Dark Elf prince.
- Malady, a human necromancer.
